Our founders
Ram Kumar Thota
Originating from modest roots as the son of an Indian farmer, Ram Kumar Thota ventured to Dubai where he established SRR Building Material Trading in 2007. His enterprise has since flourished into one of the UAE's leading players in importing, exporting, wholesaling and retailing building materials. A philanthropist as well as an entrepreneur, he supports Indians displaced from their jobs in the GCC and runs charitable work through the TRK trust, while opening hotels and malls in Vemulawada, Karimnagar and beyond.
Challa Suman
A young and dynamic entrepreneur who has made his mark across Vemulawada, Telangana. With a keen eye for opportunity, he has built a diverse portfolio spanning hospitality, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and media. His journey began with the Hometown Family Restaurant — known for its warm ambiance and home-style cuisine — followed by the upscale MK Bar & Restaurant, and now the luxurious SRR Grand.
